We are located in the foothills of Calaveras County in Valley Springs, California.
Amanda and Jeff established ZimZer Ranch in January 2016 with the goal to become as self sustainable as possible. Every year, we continue to learn, grow and set new goals. It has been a wonderful journey with a lot of hard work. Having you on our website right now, that in and of itself, is one of our dreams coming true!
We are thrilled to provide you with the opportunity to hatch your own baby chicks with our all-inclusive rental kits! We also sell farm fresh quail meat and chicken or quail eggs.
You might wonder where our ranch name came from? It is a smash-up of our two last names - Jeff Zimmerman and Amanda Holzer, together ZimZer Ranch was born.
As you will notice, there is another theme to our ranch besides the Z's. This comes from Amanda's passion for mermaids and country life #MermaidChick
